Themis

Themis is the Greek goddess of justice, was the embodiment of divine order, the laws and customs. When she was not ignored, the goddess Nemesis takes care of them an angry punishing those who disobeyed. Themis presided over the proper relationship between man and woman, the basis of the legitimate family and orderly. Judges were often called "hemistopoloi" meaning servants of Themis. The name of Themis could have been replaced by Adrastea birth Zeus in Crete. She built the Oracle at Delphi and was herself oracular. Themis was a deity behind the Oracle of Delphi, which was of Gaia and gave Phoebe. He lived on earth, but from the Iron Age, appalled by the crimes that were committed, he moved to live in the sky, taking the place of the Zodiac Virgo. The Roman equivalent of one aspect of Hellenic Themis, as the personification of divine right of the law, was Iustitia. Its origins are in the civilian abstractions thinking Roman, rather than archaic mythology, so try not productive comparisons. Represented as an impassive woman, blindfolded and carrying a balance and a cornucopia, the sculpted image at the entrance of the courthouse is Iustitia, not Themis. She was placed on a lion to show that justice must be accompanied by force.
can find a picture of Iustitia at the entrance of the faculty of philosophy at the University of Valencia. Lifelong
